We welcome applications from students with a range of qualifications, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Irish Leaving Certificate.

All applicants must have at least a 2.1 honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study. Entry requirements vary across Schools and courses – please check the details for your specific course.
Typically, we ask for at least a 2.1 or Master’s.
It is normally expected that students wishing to undertake postgraduate research in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities or Social Sciences will hold a relevant Master’s degree.
Applicants to the Faculty of Science or Medicine and Health Sciences can either have a Master’s degree or a strong Bachelor’s degree, equivalent to UK 2.1 or above.
