Agents we work with
)
UEA works with partners around the world to promote our programmes and provide a service to students applying to the University. These partners have been carefully selected and we provide regular training to ensure that UEA is accurately represented and that the applicant experience is good. Our partner institutions are independent from UEA and have their own governing principles.
Choosing to study in the UK, whether with us or somewhere else, is one of the most important decisions you can make. To support with this decision, some students consider using the services of an education agent when applying to us.
Education agents provide a range of services to support you - from identifying the right university and course to guiding you through the application and enrolment process. They can also assist with visa applications, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
If you are considering using an education agent, we recommend reading the student and parent guide to choosing an education agent — an important part of the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF).
The guide provides you and your family with clear information and guidance on what you should look for when considering using an agent. It includes key questions to ask, signs of quality, and how to avoid poor practices. The guide also links to ‘The national code of ethical practice for UK education agents’ and the British Council’s UK database of certified counsellors.
For a summary of the most relevant, you can also view the British Council's student guide to choosing an education agent.
If you are looking for an Agent to work with in your country or you are unhappy with an aspect of your applicant experience, please contact us at agents@uea.ac.uk.
Our Agents

UEA has entered into a commercial arrangement with the following education agents, who are our official representatives. They are contracted to support qualified prospective students to choose a course, submit an application, find accommodation, and apply for a visa as appropriate to the prospective student’s circumstances. If you enrol with us, we pay the education agent a commission/fee. You can choose to use other education agents if you wish, but we spend resources training and helping these education agents to offer the best possible service, and we strongly encourage you to only use one of our official education agents listed here. Please note, there have been examples of unofficial education agents claiming to represent us. Please check this list to be sure you are using an official partner of UEA.
