As part of our Access and Participation Plan with the Office for Students and work undertaken with the Recruitment and Outreach department, we're keen to support local schools and encourage members of staff to consider becoming a school governor.
Our outreach team help to support schools and trusts with governor recruitment by advertising vacancies to UEA staff. To support school governors who work at UEA we set up the Governors Network - there are regular meet ups where we share best practice, ideas and undertake relevant training.
