The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Commonwealth Scholarship

​The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Commonwealth Scholarships are available to international students who have applied to study a full-time on one of the following courses:

• MSc Climate Change and Global Development

• MSc Environment and Global Development

• MA Agriculture and Rural Development

Applicants must be a national of, or permanently domiciled, in one of the following countries*:

• Jamaica

• Kenya

• Kiribati

• Lesotho

• Papua New Guinea

• Rwanda

• Saint Helena

• Saint Lucia

• Saint Vincent and The Grenadines

• Samoa

• Sierra Leone

• Solomon Islands

• South Africa

• Tonga

• Tuvalu

• Uganda

• Vanuatu

• Zambia

Each scholarship will fund the student's international tuition fees and provide them with a maintenance grant of £16,500 with a warm clothing allowance of £534 so that they can live in the UK and be able to cover the costs of living.

This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of financial need to applicants from any of the listed countries.
