International Early Payment Awards (January and February Start)

Early Payment Awards

To recognise and reward the financial commitment of paying early, we have two awards available to international students joining UEA in January or February 2027, for an eligible full-time, Postgraduate Taught programme. See eligible programmes further down this page.

Early Deposit Award – £500

Students paying the minimum deposit amount outlined in their offer email by 27 November 2026, will receive a £500 tuition fee reduction.

Full Payment Award – up to £1,000

Students paying tuition fees in full (minus any awarded UEA scholarships) by 11 December 2026, will receive either:

  • £500 if you've already paid your deposit and been awarded the Early Deposit Award; or

  • £1,000 if you haven't.

Please note that the maximum total amount for these two awards is £1,000.

Example:

MSc Computing Science tuition fee: £25,700

International PG Merit Scholarship: £5,000

Deposit of £4,000 paid before 27 November 2026

Student receives Early Deposit Award: £500

Student then pays remaining full fees (£15,700 in this example, calculated below) by 11 December 2026, they are then awarded an additional £500 Full Payment Award.

Calculating how much remaining fees to pay, in order to qualify for Full Payment Award:

£25,700 - £5,000 (International PG Merit Scholarship) - £1,000 (maximum Early Deposit & Full Payment Awards) - £4,000 deposit paid = £15,700 to pay.

In this example, to qualify for the Early Full Payment Award you would need to pay the remaining tuition fees of £15,700 by the 11 December 2026.
