My UEA Story: Safepoint

logoImagine you're an engineer, an estate agent, a social care worker, or even a farmer. Something goes wrong, you get attacked by a client, or trapped under machinery.

Who knows you're in trouble?
Who knows where you are?
Who's coming to help?

The alarming fact is for the majority of businesses the answer is nobody.

Safepoint is an award-winning platform that solves this problem, allowing businesses to ensure the safety of their employees, whilst easily staying compliant with today's health and safety regulations.

For us it made perfect sense to set up our HQ at The Enterprise Centre; a number of Safepoint’s founders are UEA alumni, and the University has supported our business as it's grown.

Founders of Safepoint

Since moving to The Enterprise Centre our business has grown significantly. When we first moved in, we were still deep in the product development stage, however, we have since fully launched the platform and have customers all around the world.

The flexibility of the space at The Enterprise Centre has considerably helped our business to grow in the way that it has. From the ability to easily book rooms, for meetings or more focused working sessions, to having a green screen wall available, to being able to get another desk for our summer intern with ease.

The fact that there a number of networking events, and that the Enterprise Centre staff work hard to put on various workshops and seminars has also been a great help.

Our goal at Safepoint is to truly modernise how businesses think about and engage with their lone working staff, especially those in dangerous roles.
