Philosophy
I studied Philosophy.
When I was a student, from 1969 to 1975, philosophy was part of the School of Social Studies. I took bachelors degree then two higher degrees in philosophy. I found that it was a great preparation for almost any career.
I spent the next 37 years in Higher Education retiring in 2011 as Deputy Registrar and Secretary - at UEA. Philosophy helped me enormously in my career - a fantastic training in analysis, synthesis and cutting to the heart of a problem. I would do it all again!
