“Rhetorics of Unity and Division”

The 2017 Conference of the Rhetoric Society of Europe will take place at The University of East Anglia (UEA) in the ancient medieval city of Norwich, in the United Kingdom. Two hours by train from London, and with its own international airport Norwich is a remarkable blend of the historic (a cathedral and a Castle from the 12th century, numerous medieval churches) and the modern. The conference will take place on the striking modernist campus of UEA and at the award-winning Sainsbury Centre designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect Norman Foster

Keynote speakers include:

  • Gerard Hauser (University of Colorado, Boulder)
  • Quentin Skinner (Queen Mary University London)
  • Ruth Wodak (University of Vienna and Lancaster University)

Registration for the conference is via the UEA Online Store. Please note, the deadline to register is Friday 12 June and refunds cannot be guaranteed after this date.
