UEA Community Choir enjoys membership from students, staff, and members of the public. The Community Choir, under the direction of UEA Director of Music, Stuart Dunlop, rehearse on campus from 1.10-1.55pm, every Wednesday lunchtime (except the first Wednesday of the month), during the autumn and spring semesters. The choir practice a wide range of music, from modern popular music, to traditional gospel pieces. Recent repertoire has included King, Leiber and Stoller's Stand By Me, Siffre's Something Inside So Strong, Leontovich's Carol of the Bells, Rew's Walking on Sunshine, Graham and Lovland's You Raise Me Up, Weiss and Thiele's Wonderful World and Lennon and McCartney's Can’t Buy Me Love.
How to join
UEA Community Choir is intended for those who: want to start singing in a choir (even if they have never done so before); want to sing in a more informal way, sometimes with more contemporary music; or want to sing for fun and explore their voice.
UEA Community Choir is intended to bring together members from the whole of the university community and beyond. It is open to all (staff, students, and members of the community), welcomes singers of all abilities and levels of experience, and is audition-free.

Please note that there is a £10 subscription fee to join UEA Community Choir. This fee covers the cost of your music for the year.
There are currently no more UEA Community Choir performances planned for the 2018/19 concert season.
