UEA Community Choir is for the whole of the university and our wider community. Welcoming, friendly and informal, it is conducted by Director of Music, Bjorn Bantock. There is no audition.
Rehearsals and performances
UEA Community Choir enjoys membership from students, staff, and members of the local community. The choir rehearse on campus from 12:30 - 13:15, every Thursday lunchtime, during semester time, and perform either on campus or in the surrounding region, at least once a year.

UEA Choirs Christmas Carol Concert, Wednesday 10 December 2025, 19:30-21:30, The Cathedral of St John the Baptist, Norwich. Tickets are available to purchase via the UEA online store.

How to join
UEA Community Choir welcomes singers of all abilities and levels of experience, and is audition-free. It is intended for those who: want to start singing in a choir (even if they have never done so before); want to sing in a more informal way, sometimes with more contemporary music; or want to sing for fun and explore their voice.

Subscriptions
For the 2025-26 concert season, the subscription fee is £14 for the year. This fee covers the cost of your music and venue hire for the year. This fee covers the cost of your music and venue hire for the year.
