Mr Peter Prinsley is an Otologist who has worked as an ENT Consultant for 20 years and published articles and clinical reports about ear disorders and training in otological surgery.

Tabitha James
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Edinburgh Napier University and I am currently undertaking a master's degree in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh whilst working as an olfactory-based research assistant. I am interested in the links between olfaction and memory and how this may be affected by olfactory loss, and I am looking forward to joining the rhinology and ENT research group to explore this further during my PhD.

Baveena is a Foundation doctor at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. She has recently graduated from GKT School of Medical Education, King’s College London. To date, she has been involved in numerous research projects, particularly in ENT and Global Health.

She has recently graduated from the University of East Anglia and has a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London. Dr Gabija Klyvyte
Specialist Foundation Programme Doctor
Gabija is a doctor in Norwich and Norfolk University Hospital who works in a specialised foundation programme post in ENT research. She was awarded a distinction in Masters of Clinical Research (MRes) in ENT together with prestigious Wolfson grant. Her current work includes posttraumatic olfactory loss, ApoE associations with olfaction and working in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy for people with smell and taste disorders. Gabija continues to build her research portfolio while being and active member of the research group.

Dr Matthew Flynn
ENT Registrar
Matthew Flynn is a Specialty Registrar in Otolaryngology in the East of England Deanery. He has a research interest in ENT infections, and in particular Microbiome of the Upper Respiratory Tract and holds a Masters' Degree by Research in this area as well as multiple publications. Ateeqah Yussuf-Shabi

I am currently undertaking an MRes in Clinical Science at the University of East Anglia, working within the ICAST programme to improve care for patients with smell and taste disorders. My research focuses on equality, diversity, and inclusion in participant recruitment for olfactory studies. I am passionate about advancing understanding of sensory disorders and contributing to more inclusive approaches within clinical research.
Ms Tharsika Myuran
Tharsika is currently on a post CCT fellowship in Anterior skull base, Rhinology and Facial plastics in Wessex. She completed her higher surgical training in the East of England deanery and takes an active interest in mentoring junior trainees wishing to pursue a career in ENT as well as having a keen interest in Rhinology and Olfactology research. She has experience in leading national trainee research collaboratives through the Rhinology section of the INTEGRATE Trainee research collaborative, most notably the National Audit on the Management of Olfactory Disorders.
