Share your story
Whatever stage you are at in your journey, we would love to hear from you if you’d like to share your story in a Schwartz Round. Storytellers are supported before, during and after a Round by our trained facilitators who will organise a meeting to help you shape and rehearse your story in a safe and supportive environment. You can also meet fellow storytellers beforehand, so you have a good idea of how the different stories reflect the theme of the Round.
We are keen to hear from any student or member of staff who would like to share their story. Please email Georgia Panagiotaki g.panagiotaki@uea.ac.uk (UEA's Schwartz Rounds Lead) if you would like to know more or get involved.
Join the team
Our steering group meets online every six weeks to two months to plan future Rounds, reflect on those already delivered, and further promote them so Rounds can reach as many members of UEA's community as possible. We welcome new members, especially students, from any participating school. Please get in touch with g.panagiotaki@uea.ac.uk if you want to join our team.
Become a Schwartz Rounds ambassador
Would you like to become a Schwartz Round ambassador and help us increase the visibility and accessibility of UEA's Rounds to a wider group of students? We would love to hear from you g.panagiotaki@uea.ac.uk. Here is what Rosie Stride, our wonderful HSC student ambassador and member of the steering group says:
"My experience of being a student ambassador and a member of the steering group has wholeheartedly been so positive and uplifting. Everybody is so friendly and accommodating- even moving one of the steering group meetings to a date when I could attend after I had finished my second placement. Being a student ambassador allows me to encourage fellow students to come and sit in an emotionally safe space to just reconnect with their own thoughts and feelings, which in everyday practice doesn't always happen. I feel privileged to be both a student ambassador and a member of the steering group and would highly recommend becoming involved with the Schwartz Rounds - regardless of what you feel you can offer, your contribution will always be greatly received".
