The new incubator facility will be the focal point of the food and drink sector, providing commercial food grade units to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard and an Innovation Hub with test kitchens, meeting and conferencing space, and communal areas.
This incubator will provide the community, comprising the tenants of the food grade units on site alongside food businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk, with a prestigious facility within the Norfolk Food Enterprise Zone to grow their businesses. The Food Innovation Centre will be Norfolk and Suffolk’s first dedicated food grade innovation space, allowing businesses to pilot and demonstrate new product ideas within test kitchens and a sensory evaluation facility, within a collaborative incubator working environment.
The Broadland Food Innovation Centre will consist of:
13 BREEAM excellent-rated food grade units (150m2 to 614.5m2)
2 test kitchens full of prep and cooking equipment
1 sensory testing kitchen
Meeting rooms and conferencing space
