Completing a Form E
A form E financial statement is the document you use to give information about your financial information.
You must use it in the financial remedy court process. When you or your ex applies to court the court will set you a deadline for completing your form E and sending it to court and your ex. Do not leave it to the last minute as you need to get certain information and attach that to the document.
You can also use the form it for voluntary disclosure or non-court dispute resolution as it’s a useful format.
Some reassurance
Nobody views the completion of a form E as a joyful task, but the form looks worse than it is. If you have ever tried to get free nursery hours or filled in a benefits form you can absolutely cope with a form E.
For many people, bits of it won’t be relevant.
Getting started
The first thing to do is get to a desktop computer. You won’t be able to do this on a mobile phone. While you can handwrite it, this is challenging as some of the boxes can be small. If you don’t have a desktop, try your local library.
