Over the Autumn of 2019 Christine Cocker and Adi Cooper a former Director of Adults’ Services, worked with RiP, to deliver workshops on ‘Transitional safeguarding, bridging the gap between children‘s and adults’ services’.
Workshops were attended by managers from Children’s and Adults’ Services all over England. Christine and Adi contributed to the Research in Practice blog which explores how to work effectively with adolescents when undertaking safeguarding work, recognising that adolescence throws up different issues that don’t disappear at age 18.
