The Behavioural and Implementation Science Group for Health and Care represents a significant critical mass of expertise dedicated to closing the gap between research evidence and real-world implementation. We are a multidisciplinary collective including academics, Pharmacists, Nurses, Midwives, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Physician Associates who are all actively engaged in advancing the field of behavioural and implementation science engaging with patients, caregivers and the general public. We therefore occupy a unique position at the intersection of frontline care with behavioural and implementation science.
Our approach and success are defined by a dual-professional identity. We understand the "language of the floor" because we speak it every day. This lived experience allows us to translate high-level theory into practical, system-ready solutions. Our Unique Selling Point is simple: We design interventions that actually work in the real world, because we understand the context in which they must live. In the complex landscape of health and social care delivery, we provide a distinct layer of expertise:
Because we remain active within clinical environments, we have an intuitive understanding of the systemic pressures, workflow constraints, and professional cultures that influence the success of any new innovation.

We specialise in making behavioural science accessible and actionable. We ensure that sophisticated behavioural and implementations science theories, models and frameworks are seamlessly integrated into the realities of modern health and care settings.
