Throughout the year, the University of East Anglia will be hosting Teacher Training Open Days and Events about how you can train to teach in the Primary or Secondary school age range and the university-led or School Direct routes offered by UEA. 

Anyone thinking of a career in teaching are welcome to attend - from those making a tentative initial enquiry to those who have already made their decision and are on the verge of making their application.

UEA PGCE Teacher Training Events

You will have the opportunity to find out more specifically about UEA's 38-week, full-time, PGCE teacher training courses, speak directly with subject tutors, current students and newly qualified teachers. Members of UEA's PGCE admissions team will also be available to offer advice on degree, A level and GCSE requirements, how to gain school experience, and any finance and funding information.

Get Into Teaching - Train to Teach Events

These events are organised by the UK Government's Department for Education. You'll have the opportunity to meet representatives from UEA and find out about our PGCE Primary and Secondary courses, along with other training providers in the area.

In addition to UEA's PGCE Teacher Training Information Sessions, UEA are offering a Postgraduate open event during the Spring - with check-in from 12.45pm - where you will also have the opportunity to talk to our PGCE Admissions Team and explore the university campus.
