i-Teams is a fantastic opportunity for researchers in the early stages of their careers to acquire new skills, widen their experience outside of academia, increase their commercial awareness and have fun doing it.
We put together teams of post graduate students (PGRs) and postdoctoral researchers to work together with industry mentors on creatively planning business impact for real inventions. You will:
- Develop enterprise skills
- Think creatively
- Work with industry mentors
- Become part of a hands-on innovation-team
- Stand out from the crowd
Who can join?
i-Teams is open to PGRs and postdocs from UEA, JIC, Sainsbury Laboratory, QI and the Earlham Institute.
When does it run?
The programme will run for 12 weeks between January and March/April. The first session of 2020 will be 14 January.
How much time does it take?
There will be group and team meetings every week, from 18:30 to 21:00, with food available from 18:00 to fuel your creativity. In addition, you will be expected to put in at least four hours of individual work each week.
The Application deadline is 10 December 2019.
In 2020 i-Teams will return to the NRP for the sixth time following five successful programmes 2015-2019. Again, this will include our now, very successful Heritage i-Teams!
