Innovate UK Agri-Food Launchpad
UEA is delighted to be a partner developing and delivering this new opportunity for businesses working across the agri-food landscape through innovative food manufacturing and production.
The Eastern Agri-Food Innovation Launchpad has been developed jointly by New Anglia LEP, Greater Lincolnshire LEP, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority and Innovate UK, and tailored to the region’s needs and circumstances.
Eligible businesses can apply for funding under different streams, with grants starting at £25,000 for projects requiring Minimal Financial Assistance and going up to £300,000 for Collaborative Research and Development projects.

Grant money is provided by Innovate UK, helping you to access the latest academic thinking and work with a highly skilled graduate on a strategic business project.
Creative East: Create Growth ProgrammeIf your creative industry business is based in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire or Peterborough and has potential and aspirations for high growth, this Programme will get you in the best shape to secure and take on investment to grow. Over 12 weeks, a specialised team of creative industry experts will support businesses with one-to-one advice and mentoring, specialist seminars, and round table sessions. You’ll gain fully funded access to bespoke professional support from experienced investors, founders and sector specialists.
Develop sustainable thinkingOur Low Carbon Innovation Fund invests between £25k and £1m in companies that are committed to reducing carbon emissions. We've already invested more than £20m in 48 companies across the East of England. You can also work with leading experts in sustainability on projects that will re-shape your business, and maybe the world.
Grow your businessHelp to Grow: Management is an applied course supporting managers and leaders of small and medium sized businesses (SMEs). The 12-week programme is 90% funded, meaning the fee payable by participants is £750. Help to Grow: Management has been designed to fit alongside full-time work commitments and is delivered with a mix of online and face-to-face sessions.

UEA’s specialist team combine their expert knowledge of the graduate careers market with cost effective recruitment support, to simplify the process for businesses.
Tap into new expertiseUniversities are home to new thinking. We can introduce you to funds that help you turn ideas into action and revolutionise your industry. SMEs and startups can also secure Innovation Vouchers of up to £5k from a draw that takes place every three months. Innovate UK's vouchers can be used to fund technology transfer or other knowledge transfer from a supplier, if you're working with them for the first time.
Work with leading expertsBusinesses of all sizes can pool their expertise with UEA academics on innovative research projects. We can help you access Innovation Vouchers of up to £7.5k and Research and Development grants up to £50k.
