Norwich Research Park is comprised of six world-leading partners:
- John Innes Centre (JIC), an international centre of excellence in plant science, genetics and microbiology
- Quadram Institute (QI), dedicated to researching links between food science, gut biology and human health and disease
- Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), a National Health Service academic teaching hospital
- Earlham Institute (EI), which uses biotechnology and computational science to tackle some of today’s most ambitious biological questions
- The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL), home to daring, long-term research into plant-microbe interactions
- University of East Anglia (UEA), a research-intensive institution recognised for the quality of its research.

The community consists of 3000 researchers and clinicians within a 1km radius, sharing expert knowledge, highly skilled staff, and cutting-edge facilities. Norwich research Park is also home over 150 science and technology companies, based in flexible commercial laboratory/office space or with virtual presence, form a significant part of the innovative community.
The Park’s unique concentration of globally renowned expertise, and multifaceted and multidisciplinary collaborative approach, means there are few places so well-equipped to make significant contributions to the challenges of the 21st Century

BBSRC Rainbow Seed FundThis fund makes equity investments between £25,000 and £750,000 into either projects or small businesses in return for an equity share in the business
Low Carbon Innovation FundA venture capital fund, providing equity finance for eligible SME’s based wholly or partially in in the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Hertfordshire LEP, and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority region. The Fund co-invests alongside private sector investors such as founders, angel investors and/or other funds to provide finance to early and growth stage businesses in a variety of sectors to enable them to develop technologies, products or services that are more energy or resource efficient.
