Both the BSc Actuarial Sciences and BSc Actuarial Sciences (with a year in Industry) are fully accredited by the UK Actuarial Profession (Institute and Faculty of Actuaries).

Under our accreditation agreement with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, students who graduate from either of our Actuarial Sciences programmes can apply for a block of exemptions from the UK Actuarial examinations for subjects CT1 to CT8. In order to be eligible students need to achieve the required accreditation mark (65%) for the programme and pass all modules taken.

The accreditation mark is calculated as the weighted average of all the actuarially related modules within the programme (see details below) weighted by UEA module Credits.
