Social Work: continuing professional development courses

In the School of Social Work, we offer a range of continuing professional development (CPD) courses aimed at helping you build your social work career.

Children, families and adults who need professional support are at the heart of our continuing professional development courses; and we design the learning and teaching around practice to help you  develop your knowledge, skills and capabilities as professionals. We have a high profile research programme, including the Centre for Research on Children and Families, and we make use of a wide variety of research from inside and outside the School to inform and lead our teaching.

We recognise that you work with diverse people in a wide variety of roles and organisations; the modules and courses we offer aim to reflect something of this range.
