Our Industry Engagement and Experience
Our creative practice lecturers have years of experience working in the film, television and media industries. This includes working as scriptwriters on Hollywood and British films, writing and editing BBC dramas, commissioning innovative series for Channel 4 like Queer as Folk, and acting as cameraman for over twenty years on some of the most popular BBC shows like EastEnders, Later with Jools Holland and Dr Who.
We have a range of national partnership across the cultural, creative and media sectors, including BAFTA, British Film institute, BBC, StudioCanal, Film London, Wikimedia, Film Archives UK, London Jazz Festival and the Science Museum Group. As a result, our students have worked on projects digitising, programming and reusing BBC films, researched and recommend films for DVD release for StudioCanal, and have the opportunity to be mentored by Adrian Wootton OBE, Chief Executive of the British Film Commission.
