Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

The School of Global Development is fully committed to providing a fair and equal environment for work and study.

As a School we were awarded the Athena Swan Bronze Award in 2020. Athena Swan is a Charter to support and transform gender equality within Higher Education and Research. Beyond this our DEV Diversity Officers and Student Partnership Officer regularly review many areas of the work of the School and continue to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment in which all can flourish.

The Dean of Faculty is a proactive member of the University's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and feedback from students and staff is increasingly sought on a range of issues as the Faculty has highly diverse populations and works hard to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment in which all can flourish.​
