Work in the School of Computing Sciences

A progressive and inclusive culture

“We encourage professional respect, equality, recognition and dignity for all our students, staff and visitors”

-Professor Gerard Parr, Head of Computing Sciences

The School of Computing is proud to be working to create a progressive and inclusive culture. In recognition of our work in this area the School was awarded Bronze Athena SWAN status in 2015, renewed in 2019.  We strive to make a difference to everyone working in and with the School.

Our Equality and Diversity team meets to analyse and reflect on cultural practices that affect equality at all levels within the School.
