Across our Research Themes, we achieve diverse impacts from our research.

Our work informs and influences policy at international, governmental and NGO levels. The commercial reach of our work extends from wildlife conservation consultancy, through sustainable agriculture, enhancing pollinator services and animal feedstuffs, to industrial biotechnology, drug discovery and cataract replacements. Our research and impacts are disseminated widely through an extensive programme of engagement with schools and the public.

We access a broad range of University, Research Council, Industrial and Charitable funds for proof-of-concept studies and impact development (including funds to develop GCRF applications). We enjoy considerable success with CASE PhD studentships and strong links to the business accelerators on the Norwich Research Park. The School is also delighted to be hosting its first Entrepreneur-in-Residence, providing expertise and impetus for developing our impacts yet further.
