Executive MBA

An MBA is a prestigious Master's qualification designed to equip professionals and aspiring senior leaders with advanced management skills, strategic expertise in a range of core subjects, and an in-depth understanding of business and organisational practice. It is a versatile degree aimed at managers who bring work experience into the classroom and who wish to accelerate their career, increase their earning potential and transition into a senior role.

Our Executive MBA offers the opportunity to study part-time with classes in the evenings and at weekends over two years. The course includes a range of optional modules and a week-long international consultancy project in a European capital. It also offers a workplace-based project offering employers a return on their investment in supporting a member of staff enrolled on the course.

Evolve Workplace Wellbeing

The Evolve Workplace Wellbeing team provides reliable, evidence-informed resources, training and peer networking for people professionals. The free Evolve toolkit launched in 2022 based on 7 years’ worth of research. It includes a ground-breaking business case calculator for workplace wellbeing initiatives, a free course and real-life case studies. People professionals reported in our evaluation that they gained the confidence and knowledge necessary to embed real evidence-based approaches to workplace wellbeing in their own organisations, bypassing the ‘noise’ of anecdotal advice and superficial solutions. Alongside the toolkit – which remains free to all to use – the team also offers regular deep-dive training sessions on key workplace wellbeing topics for people professionals with any level of experience. Beyond the publicly listed training, the team also creates bespoke training and consultancy solutions for organisations on a case by case basis.

Bespoke training programmes

The majority of our Executive Education and short course work is in the development of focused programmes designed specifically for individual employers. These programmes enable employers to take advantage of Norwich Business School expertise to offer high-quality training for their staff. Recent examples include the ‘Broadening Horizons’ programme for Aviva, aimed at developing high performance leadership skills in middle to senior managers, and the ‘Made Smarter’ programme, focused on operational excellence within manufacturing for a consortium of Norfolk manufacturing businesses.

We work with you to design a course specifically crafted to develop your team, improve organisational performance and address organisational challenges. Our bespoke courses can provide training in leadership development, sustainability, creativity and innovation, strategy, culture, change management or digital transformation through AI.
