The following laboratories on the UEA campus/Norwich Research Park are regularly looking for human participants for their studies.

UEA Psychology Research Paid Panel

Physical location: LSB 0.08

Common incentives: Vouchers, Cash – approx. £12+ per hour (pro rata)

Description of common experiments: Online experiments, Eye-tracking, brain imaging (EEG, fNIRS, MRI)

Common duration: 30-60 minutes

Ethical considerations: Personal information used for payments only.

Target audience: General public, incl. UEA students and staff

Age range: 18+

UEA Developmental Lab

Physical location: LSB 01.16

Common incentives: Books, toys, t-shirts, balloons, vouchers, cash

Description of common experiments: Play sessions, brain imaging (EEG, fNIRS, MRI), online experiments/questionnaires

Common duration: 30-60 minutes

Ethical considerations: Researchers all have advanced DBS checks. Personal information used for payments only.

Typical age range: 0-7 years old

Laboratory for Economic and Decision Research (LEDR)

Physical location: ZICER 02.03

Common incentives: Cash, Amazon vouchers – on average at least £12 per hour – Payments depend on your and others’ decisions

Description of common experiments: Computer experiments, Online experiments

Common duration: 30-90 minutes

Ethical considerations: Personal information used for payments only, Payments depend on your and others’ decisions, Following the “no deception” policy of Experimental Economics.

Target audience: UEA students and staff

Age range: 18+
