In April 2019, we were awarded an institutional Athena Swan Silver Award which recognises our sustained impact on a range of actions to support our staff and student community. All our Schools also hold Athena Swan Awards, with many achieving Silver.
REF (Research Excellence Framework) cycles have equality, diversity and inclusion embedded throughout the entire process and we meet the robust requirements under the Gender Equality Plan for funding by the Horizon Europe programme.
