The role of the midwife is to provide support and care to women and their partners during pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of parenthood. As a midwife you will be the lead professional when care is uncomplicated but you will also be a core member of the multidisciplinary team. This course provides a robust approach to learning due to its close links to developing the application of theory and practice and assimilating your existing experience, knowledge and skills into midwifery practice.
Consideration of the length of the programme, and hence its start date, are currently under discussion. We will have confirmation of this by 25th April or sooner. Please check this site for further details which will be posted without delay once we have this confirmed.
We will be running a series of information sessions for anyone who is interested in this course. To register your interest please email nsc.pgt.admiss@uea.ac.uk. Information sessions will take place in the Edith Cavell Building on the following dates -
- Friday 19 April 2013 from 12pm – 1.30pm
- Monday 13 May 2013 from 2pm – 3.30pm
