Funding opportunity for 4-year PhD studentships

Based on mutual research interests, UEA has established a partnership with the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), based in Shenzhen, China. As part of this collaboration, applications are currently open for 4-year funded studentships supporting joint research projects though the UEA-SUSTech Split-Site PhD Programme. Students registered to this programme will carry out research at both UEA (Norwich, UK), and SUSTech (Shenzhen, China).

Programme Structure, Funding Conditions and How to Apply

For projects commencing in October 2018, funding will be available to support jointly developed projects between UEA and SUSTech academics in Chemistry, and Environmental Sciences (broadly defined, and relating to fields including biological sciences, mathematics and engineering).

Before submitting an application, candidates must contact a potential UEA supervisor to discuss a project suitable for the UEA-SUSTech Split-Site PhD Programme.
