In the Government sponsored Research Assessment exercise, the results of which were released in December 2008, all of the research units within the Faculty of Science were rated as having world leading research and over 93% of the research outputs were assessed as being of international quality.
The schools of study within the faculty have a powerful reputation for innovation, excellence and working across the boundaries of different academic disciplines. The Faculty of Science comprises six Schools of Study and two affiliated Research Institutes. All are located within the campus and the adjoining Norwich Research Park.
