Norwich Medical School is a leader in medical innovation, research, and education.
Our School supports around 2,000 learners and has over 300 staff, including NHS secondees and honorary appointees across a range of diverse disciplines e.g. medical specialties and clinical psychology and psychological therapies.
We have expanded significantly, particularly in MB BS student numbers, aligning with national efforts to increase junior doctors.
The School offers a range of Postgraduate Taught programmes that bolster the NHS workforce and hosts a respected Doctoral School in collaboration with UEA’s Doctoral College.
Research is structured across three departments, addressing key health challenges from disease mechanisms to clinical trials.
The School is a vital part of the Norwich Research Park, with strong partnerships including the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Quadram Institute, Earlham Institute, and John Innes Centre, as well as regional hospitals and community health providers.
