Olivier Award-nominee Matt Smith (2005) is the new Time Lord in Dr Who; Tom Bidwell (2005) writes for Dr Who, Casualty, EastEnders, and with Nick Harrop (MA 2002) and Rob Kinsman (MA 2003), Doctors. Paul Farrell (MA 2001) wrote two episodes of Primeval (ITV1).

Radio 1 DJ Greg James (2007) presents the afternoon show; Janice Okoh (MA 2008) joins newsreader/announcer Zeb Soanes (1997) on Radio 4 for her third Afternoon Play. Ros Ward (1987) produces for Radio 4 and the World Service.

Deborah Bruce (1992) and Rebecca Gatward (1992; MA 1995) directed Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre; Mervyn Millar (MA 1997), a puppeteer/ movement director for the NT's War Horse, continues in the West End.  Hoi Polloi's artistic director Shôn Dale-Jones (1990) tours his third ‘Hugh Hughes' play; Sholto Morgan (2005) plays Spike Milligan in Adolf Hitler: My Part In His Downfall  (Bristol Old Vic/ Hampstead Theatre). Rebecca Barber (2004) and Florence Collins (2008) production-manage for the Old Vic and comedy agency Off the Kerb. Drama critic Nick Curtis (1988) is now arts features editor for the London Evening Standard.

In the East of England, Jonathan Meth (1983), joins Theatre Is.. as executive director; Carol Bundock (1989) presents BBC Look East. At the Norwich Playhouse, Tristan Cass (2006) is chief technician, following Ashif Verjee (2000) and James Kloda (2001).
