LECTURE THEATRES

The centrally located theatres are adjacent to the University’s library. The lecture theatres seat 250-485 and are suitable for large groups and conferences which require greater space.

LECTURE THEATRE 1

This newly refurbished, tiered lecture theatre seats 510 people; the largest capacity on campus. Fully integrated audio-visual equipment and lectern is easy to use.  LT1 also features a stair lift and a central aisle. A foyer space outside the lecture theatre is also great as a registration or welcome area.

Furniture: fixed tiered seating with writing benches, lectern. Tables, chairs or staging at the front of the theatre can be arranged.

LECTURE THEATRE 2

Lecture theatre 2 features a shallow tiered theatre with 272 seats and fixed bench-style desks. Located in the main lecture theatre block, opposite the library, this space works well as an overflow for the main lecture theatre 1 or as plenary space.

Two further lecture theatres are also situated within the same building, on the lower ground floor, and seat 161 and 150 people respectively.

Furniture: fixed tiered seating with writing benches. Tables and chairs at the front of the theatre can be arranged.
Capacity seated: 272
