We are seeking a self-motivated team player to manage our team of Higher Education Advisers and develop some of the strategic agenda of our UK schools’ liaison programme. You will have experience of writing and implementing strategy, be able to manage a team, have experience of project management and be an excellent communicator. -
Procurement Associate Category Manager | Full-Time
Finance, Planning and Governance Division. Closes 30 April 2024.
Starting salary from £28,929 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £35,308 per annum.
This position will, under the guidance of the Head of Procurement, contribute to achieving savings targets and to embedding best practice within procurement processes and decisions; as well as ensuring compliance with UK legal obligations. Day-to-day procurement is devolved to budget holders and the procurement service supports this activity through central procurement for common goods and services, along with providing advice to the wider procurement community. Additionally, the role will help lead the recovery, interpretation and use of data and management information to support the above activity and play a fundamental part in the understanding/implementation of the forthcoming Procurement Act legislation, which is applicable from October 2024. -
Access and Security Officer (Quadram Institute) | Full-Time
Estates and Facilities Directorate. Closes 29 April 2024.
Starting salary from £25,717 per annum with an annual increment up to £27,973 per annum.
This role will see you operating in the Quadram Institute (QI) building, providing first class security functions. With a strong customer focus, and working as part of a team, you will look after the safety and security of the building and provide and maintain a safe, secure and sustainable environment for staff and visitors and their property, 24 hours a day throughout the year. You will also act as first responder for incidents and as a point of contact for information. -
HR Service Team Adviser | Full-Time

Working within a busy HR Service Team you will play a key role in providing an efficient, effective and customer focused HR service to staff and managers on all policies and procedures as well as supporting the HR Business Partnering team with routine administration. You will be able to use your judgement and initiative to answer queries and provide solutions, whilst building relationships with staff across the University. -

We are recruiting a Project Officer to manage the administrative activities involved in bidding for and accepting research grants in the Faculty of Science. You will join a friendly, collaborative team in Research and Innovation Services. -
Grants and Finance Administrator | Part-Time
Sainsbury Centre. Closes 30 April 2024.
Salary on appointment will be £24,715 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £28,131 per annum (pro rata).
You will support the Centre’s grant and financial activities by providing high quality, flexible financial and administrative support, working with the Grants Coordinator and the Finance and Administrative Officer. You will also be responsible for providing financial costings for new grant applications, be able to use the University’s costing systems and translate data to meet different funder requirements and work to strict deadlines.
