Spring 2026 Lineup
UEA Live returns in spring 2026 with a terrific line-up, which includes debut writers, emerging talent and seasoned authors.
First-up is Polari Prize winner, Nicola Dinan whose latest novel Disappoint Me is a funny and poignant exploration of millennial angst, race, trans panic, and the allure of bougie domesticity.
Sanam Mahloudji will appear at Dragon Hall to discuss The Persians. Shortlisted for the Women’s Prize 2025, this stunning debut novel follows three generations of women from a once eminent Iranian family as their lives are turned upside down.
As an author frequently described by reviewers as either ‘bizarre’, ‘brilliant’ or both, Francis Spufford is sure to delight audience with his thrilling new historical fantasy, Nonesuch.
UEA alum Tash Aw returns to his alma mater to discuss Booker 2025 longlisted, The South. A radiant novel about family, desire and what we inherit, and the longing that blooms between two boys over the course of one summer.
Author of the Booker prize-winning Life of Pi, Yann Martel joins the programme to talk about his latest masterpiece of myth, history and domesticity. Son of Nobody explores how stories become facts, and the price we pay to share them.
Cecile Pin rounds off the season to discuss her upcoming release, Celestial Lights. The Forbes’ 30 Under 30 writer’s breathtaking story of fate, love and sacrifice is the follow-up to lauded debut, Wandering Souls.
