Welcome to the partnership pages for the Primary PGCE at UEA.

We’ve regularly appointed graduates of the Primary PGCE programme and found them to have strong, evidence-based practice. We really value the level of scholarship, research engagement and child-centredness that’s encouraged by the course; we see this as a particular strength.

Michael Bunting, Head Teacher, Recreation Road Infant School, Norwich Member of Primary Partnership Management Committee

The partnership between the Primary PGCE at UEA, schools and multi-academy trusts in East Anglia and beyond, is a strong one with benefits for all.

Whether you are working in a school or academy which currently supports UEA trainees, or employs UEA alumni, you can work in partnership with us. We regularly draw on expertise from our partnership schools for contributions to taught sessions and recruitment processes.  We also love to hear about and share what is happening in our partnership schools, whether or not  our trainees are directly involved.
Our Primary Partnership Management Committee (PPMC) is an important strategic  group of members from across the regional education sector who work with us on all aspects of course management and review.
If you are currently mentoring a UEA trainee, below is a link to find out more about mentor support, training and to access many of the documents you will use find useful during placements.

It may be that you would like to become involved in the UEA Primary PGCE Partnership. You can find below, information regarding different ways of doing this.
