This section of the website contains handbooks and documents for reference and for use by partner institutions and UEA and external academic staff involved in partnership activities.

It is essential that UEA works with its partners to maintain and enhance the standards and quality of UEA awards for validated courses.

The UEA Partnerships Handbook draws together helpful advice and guidance to all UEA validated partners. It also covers the creation of a new partnership agreement.  The Handbook should be regarded as a key working document for colleagues and partners which details key regulations and provides practical information to ensure that policy and procedures meet the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) Quality Code requirements.

The handbook is grouped into a number of headings, with some documents appearing under more than one heading where appropriate.  The mandatory sections and related documentation that all partner institutions are required to follow are:

  • Institutional Review
  • Validation of New Courses
  • Serial Validation/Franchising
  • Approval of a New Site of Delivery
  • Revalidation of Courses
  • Changes to Validated Provision
  • External Examining
