An exhibition dedicated to Norfolk’s very own Mary Rose, The Gloucester, is due to open early next year.

The royal ship sank off the Norfolk coast in 1682, to be rediscovered by two local brothers 325 years later. UEA is both academic partner of the project to document and map the discovery of the ill-fated vessel and co-curator of this major new exhibition displaying artefacts recovered from the historic shipwreck for the very first time.

The exhibition is due to open in February 2023 at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery.
