The LGBTQ+ Allies Staff Network is a forum for staff who act as active allies for all members of our community who identify as LGBTQ+.
Established by the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team, with support from Staff Pride, the LGBTQ+ Allies Staff Network functions as a forum for staff to signal and develop their active allyship for those in UEA’s diverse community who identify as LGBTQ+. Allies can request a rainbow lanyard to wear, to indicate their allyship. The Network has a Microsoft Teams site for relevant discussions and notices of events and initiatives. Staff can email equality@uea.ac.uk to request to join, be provided with allyship resources, or ask queries about the Network.
