Access All Areas is a working group open to all staff, students, and other stakeholders, who have an interest in improving accessibility for disabled people here at UEA, including staff and students who identify themselves as disabled and feel they'd like to share knowledge and experience to work with us in identifying positive solutions on a wide range of access matters.
Our aims
- Establish a space for a collective voice for our disabled staff
- Provide a forum to discuss common access issues and potential solutions
- Share strategies of managing disability successfully
- Share knowledge with the University to ensure high quality solutions are found where accessibility issues are identified
Access All Areas meetings
Meetings take place at regular intervals during the academic year, via Microsoft Teams, and all members can suggest agenda items. There is also a Teams channel for conversations and queries outside of meetings.
