Welcome to the School of Social Work

Join us for a welcome from the Admissions Director and have the opportunity to take part in a taster session.

In this session we will focus on Youth, Crime and Social Work, exploring the role of the social worker employed in the Youth Offending Service. You will be working in a group to explore key issues which require attention, possible risks the young person may face, and ways how social workers might support youth in conflict with the law.

You will get to meet other applicants, form initial friendships, and problem-solve the tasks given as part of the lecture.
