Tickets

  • All tickets are subject to availability.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check their booking at the time of purchase. UEA Music Centre will make all reasonable endeavours to correct mistakes if brought to their attention prior to the event for which the ticket is valid. However, it may not always be possible to rectify mistakes.

  • A copy of the confirmation email sent at time of purchase must be presented by the customer to gain entry to the concert. UEA Music Centre cannot guarantee entry to the concert if this is not presented upon arrival.

Admission

  • UEA Music Centre reserves the right to refuse admission to a customer or eject them from the venue at any point, if in our judgement your conduct is such that it is likely to disrupt or disturb other persons attending the performance.

  • Possession of a valid ticket authorises admission of the holder to the venue immediately before the performance begins. However, once the performance begins, to avoid disturbing the audience and performers, latecomers will not be allowed access to the venue, until a suitable point in the performance designated by the Front of House team. This may not be until the interval. In some circumstances, we may not be able to seat you in the original seats or section you have purchased.

  • Animals are not permitted within the venue, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Phones, filming and photography

  • The use of mobile phones and the making of recordings or photography, with flash, within the venue, is strictly forbidden.

  • For some performances, there may be photographers and filming teams (commissioned by the University of East Anglia), taking photos and filming the performance. Attendees should be aware that whilst we are not looking to consciously feature you, there is a chance that you may appear in the final photographs and film. The photographs and films will be used, in official university publicity materials, and may also be circulated to the press, to recruit performers and to promote UEA Music Centre concerts. If you have any concerns regarding this, please contact the Front of House team.

Accuracy

  • The information published on the website and in printed material is correct at the time of being published. We reserve the right to make any alterations where necessary and are not liable for any subsequent admissions.

  • UEA Music Centre cannot guarantee the appearance of any performer at any performance.

  • UEA Music Centre reserves the right to alter the programme without refund.

Cancelled or rescheduled performances

  • If a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, UEA Music Centre will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation. However, we cannot guarantee that ticket holders will be informed before the date of the performance, due to circumstances beyond our control.

  • If a performance is cancelled, UEA Music Centre will offer a refund to the person who purchased the ticket, and where possible, by the same method used to purchase the ticket. When it is not possible to refund via the same payment method, UEA Music Centre reserves the right to request additional identification or documentation to ensure the money is returned to the correct person. Customers will be refunded the face value of the tickets. No further compensation will be offered.

  • If a performance is rescheduled, customers will be offered tickets to the rescheduled performance, equivalent to the face value of their original ticket. If the customer does not wish to accept these tickets then a refund can be obtained for the face value of the ticket.
