Welcome to UEA

The COVID-19 virus is presenting challenges to so many areas of life across the world, including education of all kinds. Here at UEA we're proud to have a dedicated team that works with schools and colleges across the country. Whilst we've had to cancel or postpone all face to face activity, we are working hard to ensure our work with young people continues. If you have any questions about the support we can offer you or your students, drop our friendly team a line at schools@uea.ac.uk.

The education sector is moving at a fast pace right now and we're committed to keeping you up to date with the latest information. Join us for our webinar series covering all things HE – check out the full list of upcoming live sessions here.

Our research community is pulling together and supporting the Government and the World in the battle against COVID-19. Read about how our research and university is having an impact.

Helping you to support parents and carers

Having parents and carers on your team improves student outcomes. But how do you get them on board? We've pulled together some of the best resources and ideas out there. Be inspired, empower parents and see your students succeed.

Primary and Secondary PGCE Partnership

We are continuing to work in partnership with schools across the region during the pandemic. Our PGCE trainees have been contributing to online educational activities in their placement schools and we are planning for the next academic year. At present, we are working with schools to develop ways of working that are mutually beneficial for trainees and schools. Current developments include accredited training for new and experienced mentors. We welcome approaches from schools interested in finding out more and teachers interested in our CPD and Master's programmes.
