The University of Groningen is one of the oldest universities in the Netherlands as well as one of the largest. It is comprised of ten faculties which offer courses in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Economics and Business, Spatial Sciences, Life Sciences and Natural Sciences and Technology. It is a very high ranking university among international league tables with excellent facilities. The city centre houses old university buildings, while 20 mins outside the city you'll find their modern campus with science and engineering facilities.
