Home to over 45,000 students, UoC is one of the largest universities in Germany, with almost a third of its students going on to enter the teaching profession. The university is located in the city of Cologne, the fourth largest city in Germany placed both sides of the Rhine river. Offering seemingly endless attractions, led by its famous cathedral, Cologne is a historical map of transitioning architecture as well as providing inhabitants with a wide variety of cultural attractions, such as museums, galleries and cafés. Less that 80km away from Belgium, Cologne can offer students culture as well as travel, enhancing studies immeasurably.
