The Joseph Cox Scholarship
The Joseph Cox Scholarship will support a Postgraduate UK student who will study any course within the following Schools:
- Politics, Philosophy, Language & Communication Studies
- International Development
- Law
- Psychology
- Education and Lifelong Learning
Applicants must either identify as Black-British:
- Black-African
- Black-Caribbean
- Black-Other
- Mixed White-Black Caribbean
- Mixed White – Black-African
- Other Mixed Background to include Black-African, Black Caribbean, Black-other
Or have been granted Refugee Status in the UK.
Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial need, be enrolled on a full-time course and show outstanding academic potential and motivation.
It is important that applicants to this scholarship have a passion and commitment to wider societal impact and change and will use their Masters course to enable them to do this.
