Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Science (CBESS)

CBESS brings together social scientists from different disciplines to further the long tradition at UEA of using controlled laboratory and field experiments to study key questions in the social sciences, from foundational and methodological issues to applied research.

Centre for Competition Policy (CCP)

The CCP is an ESRC-funded research centre, now in the second 5 year term of funding. The Centre's research programme explores competition policy from the perspective of economics, law, business and political science.

International Development UEA

International Development UEA (DEVCo) works with a wide range of clients, including national and international development agencies, governments, NGOs, international research centres and private clients. The unit is renowned for its research on climate change, behavioural and experimental economics, environmental justice, social protection and wellbeing.

Centre for Research on Children and Families (CRCF)

Founded in 1996, the UEA Centre for Research on the Child and Family focuses research on child wellbeing, family life and children's services. Much of the work of the Centre has informed UK policy and contributed to international debate.

UEA Water Security Research Centre

The UEA Water Security Research Centre integrates world-class natural and social sciences to address the challenges. UEA offers unique skills and internationally-renowned researchers centred in the School of International Development and the School of Environmental Sciences. Together they address key water security and related issues from the individual to the global level.
