Our scholars work with colleagues from other disciplines in the ESRC Centre for Competition Policy, the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change, the UEA 3S Group (Science, Society and Sustainability) and with national and international partners in collaborative projects, such as CREATe (RCUK-funded), examining copyright and new business models in the creative industries, and ‘The European Commission in Question' (ESRC-funded).
We take the lead on policy@uea, a research collaborative network with UEA colleagues from Philosophy, Business, Medicine and Environmental Science courses, and are a key driver of media@uea, an interdisciplinary research centre that links UEA media experts in law, economics, film and television, international development, education and literature.
Staff have been awarded grants by the ESRC, the AHRC, the British Academy, the European Commission, the Leverhulme Trust, the Natural Environment Research Council, the National Science Foundation and the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust.
