Please see below for some of the Political, Social and International Studies past events:

Examples of our past lecture series and conferences include:

  • Labour Leaders: A project which involved leading biographers and experts on each of the Labour party leaders speaking at an event held at the University of East Anglia's London campus.
  • Conservative Leaders: A conference with leading biographers and experts evaluating each of the Conservative Leaders.
  • Young People's Vision: This event provided the opportunity for young people to engage with democracy in a new and innovative way, ensuring that their ideas will make a difference to how we interact with Parliament in the future.

We also run events in the city of Norwich, discussing contemporary political issues with the local community, students and scholars. Recent events have included ‘The Referendum – What's at Issue?' and ‘Explaining the Financial Crisis'.
